Certifications and Programs

The GR GROUP has different agricultural regions around the country, where the products are obtained (tomatoes, onions, jalapeno peppers, potatoes, and cucumbers) are destined for the National and American market. All productions are constantly tested by different auditors in the fields as well as the packing in order to achieve a production of risks free food for the consumer’s health with the implementation of different innocuous program and quality control.

Innocuous Food Program
The innocuous food program is based on the Field Operation Manuals and on packing, determined by our company politics on innocuous food production. In these manuals the internal organization of the units is shown as well as the Good Field Agricultural Practices, Packing Management, and the Standard Procedures of Operation. All these steps are documented and passed through an audit and by reviews of well know international (PRIMUSLAB.COM) and national (SENASICA) certifying organizations.
Both organizations carry out innocuous food audits, related to the following themes:
 

Field Audit
1. Operation Manual been used and previous audit.
2. Field history.
3. Neighbor fields use and history.
4. Fertilizers use.
5. Water use.
6. Crop protection.
7. Employees safety and hygiene.

In the harvest team audit, the following areas are checked:
1. Previous self check reports.
2. Employees safety and hygiene.
3. Harvest practices.
 

In the packing audit the following areas are checked:
1. General program operation.
2. Pest control program.
3. Warehouse conditions and packing material.
4. Operation practices.
5. Employees practices.
6. Conditions of the packing equipment.
7. Cleaning of the packing equipment.
8. General cleaning.
9. Building and surrounding area conditions.
10. General documentation requirements.
11. Cool room conditions.
12. Visits control.
13. Hygienic transport conditions.
14. General questions.


Quality control program
Fruit quality is monitored by the quality control program from the field production to the packing process, as follows:
1. Establishment and operation of an innocuous food program.
2. Fruit physical condition.
3. Post harvest fruit management.
4. Packing characteristics.
5. Achievement of the quality standards.

When all the requirements of
MEXICO CALIDAD SUPREMA from the Economy and Agricultural Ministries, and BANCOMEXT, are satisfied, our brand is authorized to be use. The audit are performed by Primuslabs, authorized by the Mexican Accreditation Bureau.
